A Gremlin in the Works – May Day Update

Good evening. Another brief update on the book. Things have been hectic this week with two Skype interviews and a couple of others coming in via e-mail. Into the book this week go:

Andy Findlay, Harlequin, Zool 2, Actua Soccer
Ashley Bennett, Lotus (C64), Top Gear, Loaded
Phil Plunkett, Plan 9 From Outer Space, Litil Divil
Simon Hallam & Will Frost, The 4th Dimension
Phil Wright, Business Development Manager

The 90s chapters in the book are really beginning to come together, and I’m confident that with the remainder of the interviews already in the hands of the people I need I’ll be on target to have something in a rough unedited state come the summer. I was due to be at Play Blackpool this weekend with the test prints, postcards and stuff in hand but due to unforeseen circumstances it’s now doubtful that I will be able to make the trip to the seaside. It would have been great to meet so many people I’m starting to get to know via Twitter.

Please keep up-to-date with the books progress via @hardistymark on Twitter, and if you have any comments or are interested in specifics that will be in the books – favourite games, etc then I’d be happy to field any questions on Twitter or e-mail mark@agremlinintheworks.co.uk

So, thanks again for your support – it’s much appreciated and if you can, please continue to promote the book to as many people as possible to sign-up for future updates and I can continue to gauge the popularity of the project.
